SCET 2019

The XVIth annual workshop on Soft-Collinear Effective Theory will take place March 25-28, 2019 at UC San Diego. The goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers interested in SCET, resummation and (non)perturbative QCD, to discuss the latest developments and their applications to particle and nuclear physics

To ensure an informal atmosphere with plenty of time for discussion, attendance is limited to about 80 participants, and talks are by invitation only.

SCET 2019 will be a meeting in conjunction with the ReACt (Regional Academic Collaboration) initiative of the National Security Education Center of Los Alamos National Laboratory. Management of the workshop is provided by the New Mexico Consortium. On Tuesday afternoon there will be a 1-hr ReACt symposium for university faculty in attendance and from UCSD to explore collaborative opportunities between regional universities and LANL.

The workshop banquet for registered participants and paid companions will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 6:30pm at the The Shores Restaurant at La Jolla Shores Hotel. Further details will be provided at the workshop.

Scientific Organizers: Chris Lee, Aneesh Manohar, Ian Moult
ReACt Organizers: Alan Hurd and Keith Collins (NSEC)
Workshop management: Shannan Schnedler (NMC)
