If you take the shuttle in the morning get off at the Bld 65 stop (ask the driver if you don't know where it is). The easiest way from there to Bld 50B is to walk up Perlmutter Rd (across the street), turn left into the parking lot and you'll find an entrance to the elevator next to the parking lot under Bld 50E.
All following descriptions will assume that you are coming from the elevator in Bld 50B (there is only one).
Note LBL room numbers are encoded the following way:
50B-6238: Building(50B) - Floor(6) Room(238)
We will meet every morning 8:00am in the dedicated meeting room, light breakfast and coffee will also be located in that room:
- Monday 28th 8 - 11:30 am: 50A-5132
- Tuesday 29th to Friday 31st 8 - 10 am: 50A-5132
After this initial meeting some might go to dedicated working group space in 50B-1237 and 50B-6238.
Important: for safety reasons visitors are only allowed in the lab in 50B-6238 under supervision of an LBL affiliate.
Lunch options:
- On-site: there is Bayview Cafe with different breakfast and lunch options (including vegetarian) and a coffee bar.
- Off-site: if you take the shuttle downhill and get off at Northgate, there are multiple student eateries.
