Logistics

The workshop will take place in the Auditorium of Building 50 at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBL).  You will need a US Government ID (or passport) to get into the LBL site. The easiest way to get to the site is to take the "Blue uphill" free shuttle run by the lab.  There are several shuttle stops in downtown Berkeley; the most commonly used is that close to the Berkeley BART station. You can ask for directions to Building 50. Alternatively, it's a short but steep walk from the UC Berkeley campus. The auditorium is on the 5th floor of Building 50.  You can find the auditorium here:

The registration fee includes lunch and two coffee breaks.  The conference dinner requires an independent registration and will take place on Monday night.  Dinner and lunch will both be held at Building 91, across the street from Building 50.

There are many lodging options near UC Berkeley campus that provide easy access to the LBL shuttle.  One example is the Hotel Shattuck Plaza:

There will be a Zoom connection for remote attendance.  The details of the Zoom connections will be shared soon.  Remote attendees will have the ability to view the talks in real-time but we do not expect to support remote questions, presentations, or Q&A.
