NorCal HEP-EXchange

Scientific Programme

Inspired by our theory colleagues, NorCal HEP-EXchange is a forum for students and postdocs in high energy particle physics experiments in Northern California to share their work in a fun and informal setting. The exchange is a place to share work in progress, celebrate thesis achievements, and introduce new people to our local HEP-EX community. We strive for an open, informal and inclusive learning environment. There will three flavors of talks: lightning talks to give a glimpse at a subject, summary and works-in-progress talks to showcase work which was recently completed or in progress, and a few thesis presentations where soon-to-be or recent grads can share their thesis work in it's full glory. There will be a lot of time for questions and for informal interaction. Come ready to participate!
