LIDINE 2017: LIght Detection In Noble Elements The objective of the LIDINE conference series is to promote discussion between members of the particle and nuclear physics community about detector technologies based on noble elements, such as: dark matter, neutrino oscillations, supernova neutrinos, coherent neutrino scattering, neutrinoless double-beta decay, neutron EDM, and medical physics. The conference will be organized along the following tracks: * Light/charge response in Noble Elements (gas, liquid, dual phase) * Light/charge readout (PMTs, SiPM, WLS, electronics, etc.) * Detector techniques (HV, cryogenics, purification, calibration, etc.) * Signal reconstruction and identification (analysis methods, simulations) * Applications (dark matter, neutrino, precision frontier, medicine, etc.) Important deadlines: * Reserve your room at the Stanford Guest House by August 7 * Deadline for Abstract Submission: August 15 * Last Day to Register for LIDINE17: September 17 International Scientific Committee: * Maria Elena Monzani, Chair (SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory) * Denver Whittington, Co-Chair (Syracuse University) * Tomasz Biesiadzinski (SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory) * Flavio Cavanna, proceedings editor (FNAL/University of L'Aquila) * Janet Conrad, LIDINE creator (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) * Marcin Kuzniak, proceedings editor (Carleton University) * Kaixuan Ni (University of California San Diego) * Ettore Segreto (Universitade Estadual de Campinas) * Marco Selvi (INFN, Bologna) * Matthew Szydagis (SUNY, University at Albany) Note: in order to submit an abstract, you will need an account on the LBL Indico Server.
