The Tracking workshop for High Energy Physics is hosted at UC Berkeley/LBL and aims to bring together scientists developing and aiming to develop track reconstruction code for the High-Luminosity LHC era (HL-LHC) and the high intensity frontier (Belle II).

The ACTS project (https://gitlab.cern.ch/acts) is used as basis for the development of a modern, parallelizable, efficient and fast track and vertexing reconstruction software. 

The aim of the workshop is to jump-start few development projects in this area, bringing together leading experts of the field in the same place. Several projects will be defined and small groups of attendees are expected to work on one of the projects (or propose their own during the registration!).

An initial introduction to the tracking framework, the projects and a wrap-up session will bracket the work during the workshop.

Registration is strongly encouraged before Dec 15th 2018, to ensure the best possible organization. The registration is moderated to ensure a limited number of participants and maintain the working nature of this workshop, but newcomers are very welcome to register!
