Agentic AI, systems that autonomously sense, decide, and act, is rapidly transforming operations across the Department of Energy’s user facilities. This two-day workshop will convene experts from light and neutron sources, nanoscience centers, and computing facilities to explore the design, deployment, and impact of agentic AI in scientific environments. Through technical talks and community dialogue, we aim to surface best practices, share early results, and chart a path toward safe, reliable, and scalable autonomous systems in science.
