Abstract: Following multiple community activities such as the FESAC Long Range Plan and the National Academy
of Science Engineering and Medicine Key Goals and Innovations Needed for a U.S. Fusion Pilot Plant, FES
is working toward bettering the fusion technology program. The fusion technology program is
comprised of the Enabling R&D, Fusion Materials, and Fusion Nuclear Science programs as well as
tangential programs like INFUSE and the Joint FES-APRA-e GAMOW program. In summary, FES will
present an overview of these programs with and a future outlook.
