Description
Abstract:
High-order harmonic generation from plasma plumes is an efficient method to produce bright XUV laser light of high conversion efficiency (~10-4). Further, this is a natural method to produce coherent quasi-monochromatic or/and attosecond pulses from atomic and molecular resonances.
Bio:
Ashiq is a postdoc in the group of Daniel Slaughter at the Chemical Sciences Division. His expertise includes bright laser light generation ranging from THz to soft X-rays and using them for applications in ultrafast spectroscopy of gases, plasmas, and solids.
